Overview

WBCSD’s Vision 2050 envisions a world where 9 billion people live well and within the limits of the planet. For this to materialize, a new mindset is needed with a deep understanding of how our planetary boundaries and the role of business interact. Leaders with such an understanding, training and values are key to making the decisions that will make Vision 2050 a reality.

To support the education of today’s and tomorrow’s business leaders with regards to sustainable development, WBCSD has developed tools and will continue on developing the tools and training needed to better understand the roles of Natural, Social and Financial Capital.

Sustainability Online

The Business and Sustainability Program Online is a new online course from the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, designed to help build a common understanding of sustainability within organisations at scale.

Support learning, innovation and leadership across your organisation
BSP Online helps managers identify areas of personal and professional relevance by connecting global sustainability trends to effective business responses and actions within their sphere of influence. Through this process of translating concepts from sustainability science and practice into business actions, opportunities for innovation and leadership can emerge across the business.

Enable learning anytime, anywhere
BSP Online is a sustainability e-learning tool for busy managers. The learner-centric design allows users to learn in their own time, at their own pace, completing modules over a number of days or weeks, anywhere around the world. We are able to offer translations of BSP Online into multiple languages.

Free trial is available and WBCSD members and Global Network are entitled to a discount.
